Those that find the HD58X, HD650 etc. too ‘forward’ may find the K7XX a nicer sounding option… but with less refined treble. The treble amount is good though so no harsh or shrill mids anywhere.
WebI doubt that the pads are the only difference between these models and that the driver tuning has been changed as well. But I'd definitely say that the K7XX / K702 65th Anny and the K712 PRO are basically the same headphone with a different paintjob.
