WebMay 14, 2024 · @jendass Check if your thermistor at the mainboard is disconnected or has a broken wire.. If it is connected disconnect it and check it with an ohmmeter. It is a 100k NTC type thermistor…so at room temperature, it will read 90k to 100k ohms. the -14 reading indicates it is infinite or open. I tried isolating the bottom of the board from the printer case witjh 2 layers of tape and also replacing the encoder part itself. Neither helped. I found a couple other people on reddit who just installed the board and also see this. Both on ender-5 printers. I added a BLT to my Ender 3 and used generic Marlin 1.1.9 and soldered the needed wire for the signal to a cap in the center of the circuit board.
